As Thursday was a public holiday here, we decided to bridge Friday and head up to Holland for 4 days to help mom get her garden/house 'ready for winter/travels'. I was impressed with Mom's 'to do' list until I realised that I was the one who had 'to do'! Cleaning gutters, cleaning/putting the garden furniture in the shed, cleaning fly screens and putting them in the attic (Gabi the attic is still very neat and uncluttered....), applying for USA visas, storing terracotta pots in the shed (and Mom has LOADS of them...), turning off the garden taps so they don't freeze etc, etc, etc.... Gabi, I now know where Rebecca gets her 'list' thing from..... Mom has them plastered all over the place!

| Where are the boys when you need them? |

Against the odds, the wind and the rain (except for the last day), I still managed to get out every day for a run.
